Harper Quotes

I honestly never know what Harper might say these days. There is a lot of "sass" but also some very hysterical comments, not too mention some very sweet, tenderhearted ones too. I will share two that were pretty shocking. First, Harper has the most amazing memory-the kind that sometimes freaks me out.

#1-Last week, I bought a magazine and it had Ashley (the bachelorette) on the cover. Yes, I love to watch the Bachelor and Bachelorette. I am very careful about what is on the TV when the kids are awake but I guess I need to be even more careful.

So, Harper saw the magazine and said "Mommy, that's Ashley."

Me: "Um, what?" (I was beyond shocked)

Harper: "Mommy, that's Ashley, she's on TV and she gives roses to her daddy's".

Me: "umm, yes, roses to her daddy's"

Then, I quickly changed the subject.

#2-On Monday on our way back to Minnesota, we stopped at QT for a bathroom break. Harper was washing her hands and started talking to a nice older lady who was apparently missing some teeth. I was focused on washing her hands so I didn't look up.

She began with her normal "hi, I'm Harper and I am 4."

The lady: "hi, nice to meet you."

Harper: "um, where are your teeth, you're missing some teeth, I have all of my teeth, you wanna see?"

Lady: there were no words she almost ran out of the bathroom.

I was utterly humiliated!
