We finally did it! We turned Harper's toddler bed into her full sized/big girl bed. My wonderful dad put it together (Thank you Daddy!), while Peter and I stacked both the mattress and box springs on the top of my car. We drove home in rush hour traffic at about 30 miles an hour (people were hating us) but we made it home, safe and sound.
As you can tell, Harper was THRILLED with her new BIG GIRL bed!
Also, I had to attach this picture for those of you who know Harper. In the past, her bed was crammed full of stuffed animals/books and whatever else she could find. We tried (I repeat tried) to not let this stuff not go in her new bed but as you can see, we failed. She cried because she wanted all of her "kids" to sleep with her. Yes, she call them "kids." She is just so precious and mothering at the young age of 3.
