Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze 2011

About a month ago (on a brisk fall Saturday morning) we went to the Twin Cities Harvest Festival and Maze. We enjoyed time with several different families we knew and the girls enjoyed some outdoor entertainment.

The girls were freezing but ready to go inside

Where's Adeline??

There she is!

The pumpkin launch

There was a horse so of course, Harper had to ride it.

The girls and I inside the world's largest corn maze

Next up, we went to the corn pit-yep, you read that right...this massive thing was filled with corn

This is fun

Not too sure about it just yet

Getting the hang of the corn and decided to do a belly flop into the corn pit

Next, Adeline said "me do it!" and jumped right in

We have thought about this picture for our Christmas card this year:)

My girls and I...the funny thing is-it was so hard to get out of the corn pit once you got in.

Next up was playing with the animals. By the point, our friends, the Eitreim's had arrived so the girls got a new burst of energy.

Owen, Harper and Luka brushing the goats

And again...

Emmett and Harper chasing the animals

Tickle, tickle, tickle

And this was Adeline around the animals-she hid under Peter's legs the whole time. She did not want anything to do with any of the animals

Next up was the hay bale maze for the kids

Peek-a-boo

"cheese!"

Harper and the boys (Luka and Owen)

I laughed b/c most of the time, the boys would let Harper lead the way

Ta-da!

I did it!

Last and not least was the corn sack slide. First up was Adeline...

Next up was Harper

Owen and Adeline watching Harper

At this point, we were done-all done and ready to go home!
