We just returned home from a fabulous visit to Tulsa and there are many stories to share along with many fun pictures. I just couldn't wait to write this post. On Friday evening, at the McAdams annual lamb dinner, the girls were playing with their cousins (John and Charlie). Adeline had filled a container full of magnet letters. She was carrying them all over the house and even brought them to dinner. As I was finishing my HAM dinner, (yep, they make ham for special people like me who won't touch the lamb:)) I hear Adeline shriek (that is her new thing when someone takes something from her-it's loud, obnoxious but I know her shriek anywhere) and I turn to hear her say to Harper, "you took my E-F-G's" I start talking again, and I hear the shriek getting louder and Adeline scream "YOU TOOK MY E-F-G's" So I asked Adeline to come see me at the table so I could sort out the problem...she was getting really upset and she said "she took my E-F-G's"...I put 2 and 2 together and realized she meant, Harper had taken her A-B-C letters but to Adeline they were her E-F-G's. Oh, I love 2 year old minds!
