A lot of JESUS and a little Sponge Bob

Just a few stories about Jesus and Sponge Bob

When Adeline is sad, we sing "Jesus Loves Me"; when Adeline is fighting sleep, we sing "Jesus Loves Me"; when Adeline is hurt, we sing "Jesus Loves Me". We LOVE to sing Jesus Loves Me. Lately, Adeline has been signing this song more and more. A few weeks ago, it was the middle of the night, Adeline woke up screaming, so I went in singing our song. I rocked her and sang "Jesus Loves Me" more times than I can count. Finally she said "me sing it" So she started singing "Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so, little ones to Him belong, they are weak but he is strong, yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus Loves me, Yes, Jesus Loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me" you get the picture-she sang that part probably 30 times-I finally sang "the bible-" Adeline interrupted and said "no, mommy, not yet!" So there were a few more "yes, Jesus loves me" and then she sang "the bible tells me so!" Before I went in her room, I was tired and irritated that I had been woken up out of my sleep but in the end, I was thankful for those sweet few minutes with her!

Today, Adeline was rocking one of her baby dolls and singing "Jesus loves me!" In the middle of her song, Sponge Bob came on TV so she sang "Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so, little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong, yes, Jesus loves me, yes, Jesus loves me....sponge bob square pants, sponge bob square pants, yes, Jesus loves me, the bible tells me so!" Hmmm-that was a new version!
