Here is a walking story: Late yesterday afternoon, I wanted to get a walk in before the rain storm. I had walked about 1.5 miles and it started sprinkling (thankfully we were close to the apartment) so I ran back before we got drenched. When we got back to the apartment, I felt like I needed more of workout so I put on the exercise channel and "TRIED" to start doing a video. Well, most of you know that 8 years ago (today, to be exact), I was involved in a pretty bad car accident that has permanently ruined my back. So back to my story, the guy on the video started doing lunges and these crazy back bends but my "non cooperative" back wasn't going to have it so I just stopped and stood in place. The next thing I knew, Harper walked in and started saying "mommy, what are you doing? Are you trying to exercise? Mommy, you aren't doing it right! Mommy, do it like the guy on TV. No, that's not right." This went on and on for a few minutes, so finally I gave up.
The moral of the story is: if you need a great, motivating personal trainer-I have the perfect little girl just for you!

How do you get both of them to stay in the stroller that long? I tried but they were so miserable that I just gave up. We walk together but not at a very fast pace which is not that great for exercise. give me a few tips! Miss you girl!
ReplyDeleteCute story!! I need Harper to come motivate me!
ReplyDeleteNo way it was 8 years ago when the entire speech class was in that wreck!!!! (well entire class that took summer session...) Seems like it was just yesterday that we were all together!
