Birthday Recap

This year it was a little different to not be celebrating my birthday with my parents so I decided to throw myself a pity party and invited our friends from MN to all go to the park. It was a blast and everyone was so thoughtful (one of our friends even brought yummy cupcakes for everyone and then the girls, Peter and I had them again after dinner). It's so nice to know that we have made such amazing friends here already.

Harper learned how to spell "mommy" and she was so proud

BUBBLES

Kids blowing bubbles

All smiles

Adeline finally got the hang of it and blew some bubbles

Adeline with her friend, Rylan. They sat up there for a good 5 minutes imitating each other

The beautiful flowers from my parents

Peter had kept asking me "what do you want to do for your birthday?" I never really knew until the day of my birthday-all I wanted to do was spend the whole day outside. That morning we spent time at a park with friends and then that evening, we had a picnic at the park and played. It was everything I wanted and more.

YAY! I got a picture where Adeline is smiling and looking at the camera

Adeline wasn't too thrilled to take this picture..

Thanks again Heidi for making the delicious cupcakes

yes, he might be mad I put this picture on the blog but I couldn't resist

Cheers and yes, I am freezing in this picture

My girls and I

Yep, the girls and I rode a tire swing. Adeline wasn't too enthused but Harper and I enjoyed spinning around and around.

Overall, turning 29 (again) wasn't so bad. I feel very blessed to have made such wonderful friends that understand me and know how much I LOVE birthdays. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with friends and family!
